Our Background: A Legacy of Expertise
Mark Lawther brings over 25 years of travel industry experience to the Florida Travel Company, having worked with leading global tour operators and prestigious airlines like United and Emirates. At those airlines, he was part of the commercial teams that distributed the airfares! So, his industry expertise is vast, and his knowledge of how the airfares that make up part of your holiday work, second to none! Since relocating to Cornwall with his family in 2012, Mark has continued to expand his expertise in international travel.
Mark first travelled to Florida in the late Eighties (still the best music era!) and has been countless times since. His family has owned a villa there, stayed in numerous hotels and been to all the parks. This coupled with his unique understanding of the travel industry means we are in the perfect position to help you plan your Florida holiday. Whether it’s finding the right villa, selecting the right hotel, or designing a personalized itinerary, our passion ensures that your holiday will be extraordinary.

Outside of creating exceptional holidays, Mark is an active member of his local community in Cornwall, often found on the sidelines at Cornish rugby matches supporting his sons at St Austell and St Ives rugby clubs. When he’s not on the pitch, you might spot him running along the Cornish coast, having completed the London Marathon in 2022 for BreakthroughT1D (formerly JDRF), a Type 1 Diabetes charity.
